"Low Maintenance, High Performance"

As signing day looms closer and closer the whispers of ULM fans can be heard across the Warhawk Nation message boards. Needing to land some quality defensive lineman was a necessity, so the Warhawks did just that this past weekend with commitment #19.

6'2 240 pound defensive end Jackson Randle officially becomes the Warhawks 19th commitment today after Warhawk Nation was able to track down Lufkin head coach John Outlaw to verify it.

"Jackson did commit", said Outlaw. "Coach Berry was here yesterday and he's all set to go to ULM".

"he's a wonderful human being with a great family of support", said Coach Outlaw. "His motor is always running". "ULM is going to love him". "He's low maintenance, high performance".

Randle primarily lined up at the defensive end spot for Lufkin and used his incredible speed to put pressure on opposing quarterbacks.

"ULM is recruiting for the DE position but it wouldn't shock me to see him move to the interior at some point", said Outlaw. "He's that quick and moves extremely well".

Jackson is also an outstanding student in the classroom and was honored as an All District Academic athlete in November of 2010.

Randle was also named 1st team All district defensive end for 2009 and 2010.

Look for highlights of Mr Randle in the coming week.
