Wyatt Updates Recruiting

Neville has a big time linebacker in 5'10 230 pound Ricky Wyatt. The senior LB is used to being schemed around by opposing offenses and this season is no different.

Neville is preparing for a huge showdown this Friday night in the Lions Den against long time rival Ouachita.

"We had a great practice yesterday and right now are trying to stay focused and try not to listen to all the hype about the game", said Ricky Wyatt (5'10 230).

"I expect them(Ouachita) to key on me in the game but I can't let that stop me".

On the recruiting front Ricky made the short drive to Malone stadium Saturday night to take a look at the Warhawks take on the Grambling Tigers.

"ULM impressed me with their defense, I really liked the way they used their linebackers".

The recently named Week 2 High School Hero defensive player of the week has yet to pick up his first offer, but hopes that will soon change.

"I talk to ULM and ULL, those two are showing me interest". "I would be nice to get an offer from the Warhawks, it's close to home and I like their academics".

Speaking of which Ricky has a nice 3.5 GPA to his credit.

"I have to keep my focus on my grades, you can't play football without good grades".

When Ricky does start getting closer to making his college decision he will be looking closely at that schools roster.

"I want to play my Freshman year, said Ricky".
