Joseph Talks ULM Commitment

Lake Dallas defensive back talks to Warhawk Nation.com about his commitment this weekend to the ULM program.

"I camped at ULM over the summer and that's how I met the coaches and they got to see me in action", said Ferrando Joseph.

"The staff kept in contact with me throughout the recruiting process and offered me about 2 months ago".

Joseph is a 5'10 175 pound defensive back that says ULM likes him as a cover corner back in their 3-3-5 defense. "My specialty is man coverage and shutting down my WR", said Joseph.

"I felt I wasn't just another number at ULM, I could tell the staff and the players were genuine, there was a comfort level there for me".

ULM wasn't the only Sun Belt school after the Lake Dallas prospect.

North Texas offered me as well, I can see the campus from my house but I wanted to get away from home and see other places".

Ferrando camped at TCU and UTEP but spend a major part of the summer playing in 7 on 7 tournaments. "TCU clocked me with a 4.48 at their camp".

Joseph was used a lot on offense this season finishing with over 70 catches and 11 touchdowns. He had 20 tackles and 2 int's from his CB position. He was named to the District 4-4A 1st team as a wide receiver.

Check out this sophomore highlight below of Ferrando intercepting a pass. He registered over 10 int's for his career.
