Farmerville defensive tackle Trae Ford committed to the Grambling Tigers 3 weeks ago but says his decision will probably come down to NSD on Feb 1st. Get the scoop inside.

One of Louisiana's best defensive tackles is from a the small town of Farmerville just 20 minutes from the Arkansas State line.

The massive 6'3 300 pounder committed to the Grambling Tigers three weeks ago but says he is still going to take a visit to Southeastern Louisiana this weekend.

"I feel like I have earned that right to take all of my visits", said Ford.

"I know some players down there already that I played with the last couple of years. SELA is bringing in a new coaching staff and they are trying to rebuild that program".

With two FCS schools in the running, the ULM Warhawks are still lurking in the back ground as potential suitors for Ford.

ULM is close to home and that's important, I am still considering them. Coach Berry told me that it was up to me that he wasn't going to recruit someone that was already committed to another school".

While three schools are in the running, Grambling is still the hands on favorite to land his services, but in the world of college recruiting nothing is over until that letter comes across the fax machine.

"It will come down to signing day said Ford, I will let my coach and my parents know the day before my decision".
