Change Of Plans

Sometimes things don't always go the way they were supposed to. Warhawk Nation.com was contacted by a 2012 signee that informed us that he will be part of the 2013 ULM class.

Former John Tyler high school start DeVonte Haggerty informed WarhawkNation.com that he is leaving the Air Force academy and enrolling at ULM this January.

Haggerty will be part of the 2013 ULM recruiting class and grey shirt his first season.

Technically DeVonte is at the Air Force prep school that gets him prepared for the Air Force. They are not part of a football conference so his eligibility clock has not started making him eligible at ULM and able to practice with the team in the spring.

The 6'0 180 Haggerty rushed for 670 yards on 71 carries and scored 11 touchdowns his senior season. he also caught 41 passed for 452 yards and a score. A speedy, shifty athlete, DeVonte will fill in nicely at the slot position for the Warhawks.
