Local Prospect Staying In Monroe

Another local prospect is choosing to staying close to home and continue his career for the ULM Warhawks. Richwood safety Jarred Dunn talks about his pledge to ULM inside. 2012 Highlights included.

Safety-linebacker Jarred Dunn makes two prospects in two years to come out of Richwood high school and join the ULM Warhawks. Corner back Tre Hunter committed to the 2012 Warhawk class last year.

Hunter (6'1 195) played linebacker for the Rams but projects as a strong safety for the Warhawks.

"I camped at ULM's senior day camp and got to know the coaching staff pretty good. They stayed in contact with me and I believe it was in August that they offered me a full scholarship".

The Warhawks were able to keep another local prospect at home as Dunn also fielded offers from in state rival Louisiana-Lafayette and McNeese State.

"I just fit right in at ULM", said Jarred. "My future teammates are already like family to me and if I work hard I can see some playing time as a Freshman".
