ULM's Calvin Dawson will be just one of 216 players to showcase their talents at the combine, which begins February 20 in Indianapolis, IN.
“I am very excited for all three players to have the opportunity to show off their skills for the NFL scouts,” ULM head coach Charlie Weatherbie said. “For them to be invited to the bowl game and the combine, it says a lot about the young men and it also says a lot about the direction our program is heading.”
Dawson finished the season as the Sun Belt Conference’s leading rusher for the second-straight year running for 1,414 yards and 12 touchdowns. He ranks as ULM's career rushing leader with 3,378 yards and the all-time rushing touchdowns leader with 30.
Dawson is the fifth player in the last three years to be invited to the NFL combine. He joins Chris Harris, Kevin Payne, Joel Stelly, and Chaz Williams.
