Arkansas State Red Wolves

QB - Phillip Butterfield
Butterfield passed for 6,358 yards in his career for Lake Hamilton high school in Arkansas. As a Junior he passed for 2,795 yards, 30 touchdown, 5 interceptions and completed 60% of his passes. Phillip also rushed for 8 touchdowns.
Butterfield led the Lake Hamilton Wolves to a 42-28 victory over the Eldorado Wildcats in the Class 6A State Championship Game in 2008.

WLB - La'Angleo Albright
Albright had 153 tackles, 89 solo, three sacks for a loss of 25 yards and three quarterback hurries in his junior season. 1st team All Metro and 1st team All State.
As a Senior had 124 total tackles with 83 solos, five sacks, one fumble recovery. Named First Team ASWA 6A All-State LB and Birmingham News All-State (all classes) First Team LB.

RB - Nick Nelms
Rushed the ball 84 times for 623 yards and 10 touchdowns. Caught 3 passes for 51 yards and a touchdown. Projects as a LB at Arkansas State. I2 2007 named 1st team All-Region at linebacker.

DE - Toney Moore
As a junior had 80 tackles, 13.5 for loss, 15 quarterback sacks, and five blocked kicks. Followed that up with 50 tackles, 2 interceptions, interception and fumble returned for a touchdown. Six catches for 119 yards and two touchdowns.

30 tackles and three interceptions, FSWA 6A Second Team All-State, All Dade County First Team DB.

WLB - Pooh Bear Mars
After his junior season, Mars was named Class 6A All-State Team honorable mention, All Central-Florida football team 2nd team by the Orlando Sentinel, and All-Metro Conference football team which is named by coaches, and named a First Team Linebacker for the 2007 all FNL team.
As a Senior had 158 tackles, 15 for a loss, four forced fumbles, and an interception. 6A FSWA All-State First Team LB, All Central Florida First Team LB.

RB - Darian Mallary
As a Junior Mallary had 80 carries for 815 yards and 10 TDs as a RB. 10 receptions for 210 yards and 3 TDs as a WR. 2 punt returns for TD. 1 kickoff return for a TD.
As a Senior had 169 carries 1,796 yards, 15 touchdowns. All-Dade County First Team, 2A FSWA All-State.

OT - Rupert Bryan
FSWA 3A First Team All-State, All Palm Beach County (Large School) First Team OL. Team averaged 371.7 yards per game rushing. Rupert projects as a tackle at the college level.

Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders

CB - Kenneth Gilstrap
5'9 170 pound Gilstrap turned heads in Atlanta when he ran a 4.31 forty time, 4.21 short shuttle and jumped 37.5 inches on his vertical. The versatile athlete tallied right at 1,000 yards and scored 8 touchdowns for Miller Grove but is expected to contribute as a corner back for the Blue Raiders.

WLB - Stephen Roberts
Roberts is a big 6'3 210 line backer that turned in a 4.60 forty time at the Atlanta Scout Combine. Roberts totaled 142 tackles, 11 for a loss, two sacks, one interception for a touchdown, five blocked punts, in 10 games in 2008. He registered 97 tackles and 5 sacks as a Junior.

Had 43 tackles and 7 sacks for Jones County CC in 2008. Flowers has a terrific motor and makes a lot of plays going away from him with his combination of skill and hustle - Scott Kennedy, Scout.com.

Led 2007 Naples team to 3A state championship rushing for over 1,600 yards and 20 touchdowns. Rushed for 1,035 yards on 125 carries and scored 12 touchdowns in 2008.News-Press First Team RB, 3A FSWA All-State Third Team Athlete.

Williams averaged over 20 yards per catch (39 for 843 yards) and scored 13 touchdowns during his senior season. He was named to the First Team All-Suncoast Team. 38 catches for 480 yards and 4 TD's as a Junior.

As a Junior Robert ran for 1,963 yards and 24 TDs on 216 carries. Named to the LSWA Class 2A All-State team. Standing 5'6 Walker is hard to spot behind the line of scrimmage and by that time it's to late.

QB - Kolton Browning
Named Henderson County player of the year and Offensive MVP of District 15-4A, and 3rd team All State. In 2 years as the starting quarterback, Kolton put up over 8,000 yards of total offense and was responsible for 76 touchdowns passing and rushing. Threw for 3,000+ yards in back to back seasons.
Kolton will join the ULM baseball team as a sophomore. As a junior, Kolton was 6-1 with a 0.89 ERA and 101 strikeouts.

MLB - Antonio Hoskins
A 2008 Mississippi State signee, Hoskins resigned with the Warhawks in 2009. Had 191 tackles and 10 quarterback sacks as a Junior and was named to the Clarion All State football team as a Senior. Selected to participate in the Miss/Alabama All Star Game. Hoskins is 6'2 220 pounds and runs a 4.5 forty, and was the #28 ranked SAM linebacker in the nation in 2008.

S - Cameron Blakes
One of the top prospects in the state of Louisiana Blakes was selected to participate in the Inaugural Sportsman Paradise Bowl and took home Defensive MVP honors. Cameron recorded 8 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, forced 2 fumbles, and ran one of the fumbles back 26 yards for a touchdown.
In his three year career as a starter for Ouachita, Blakes recorded 256 tackles, 23 sacks, and picked off 6 passes. Cameron is expected to play safety and rover for the Warhawks.

The Sun Belt Conference as a whole signed 23 players ranked in the Top 100 in their respective positions and 54 players ranked nationally at all positions. The Sun Belt Conference topped the MAC conference in overall rank for the 3rd consecutive season and were close to knocking off the WAC for the second consecutive season.
