Chris Sinclair Watches His Home Run

On another beautiful day at Warhawk Field, ULM defeated the Harvard Crimson 11-8 as the two teams combined for 7 home runs with the Warhawks accounting for 5 of those. Chris Sinclair hit his first collegiate home run, a 2 run shot in the bottom of the 5th.

In a rare meeting between ULM and Harvard, it was the home team Warhawks that took an 11-8 victory over the Crimson.

ULM hitters continued to blister the ball out of the park hitting five more home runs. The hottest hitter on the planet Jon Prevost launched his 6th home run of the season while Boomer Blanchard continued his tear as well hitting his 5th homer of the year.

Kelvin York, Matt Laird, and catcher Chris Sinclair also homered for the Warhawks. For Sinclair it was his first home run of the season and first as a ULM Warhawk.

With his home run, Blanchard also collected a game high four hits and scored three runs. Prevost, Matt Collins, York, and Sinclair all drove in 2 runs a piece in the contest.

ULM freshman Tony Dischler picked up the win going 5.2 innings allowing 10 hits and 5 earned runs. Tony struck out 2 and walked 2. Ben Soignier made his first appearance of the season finishing the 9th inning and picking up the save.
