"The University of Louisiana at Monroe announced today that the contract of football head Charlie Weatherbie will not be renewed.
Weatherbie, who just completed his 7th season at ULM, compiled a 31-51 record at the Warhawks helm including a 6-6 mark this past season. In 17 seasons as a head coach , Weatherbie's overall record of 76-115 with previous stops at Utah State and Navy.
Director of Athletics Bobby Staub said a national search for a replacement will begin immediately. Carr Sports Associates will be enlisted to assist with the search.
